Austin represented his ROTC program at the Ranger Challenge competition at the Air Force Academy in Colorado. The two day competition is comprised of various physical and skill-based events testing university teams against one another, so they basically send the best of the best from their programs. Their team took 3rd out of 15 universities competing--so awesome! As you can tell Austin is pretty hard core and amazing at what he does; don't worry if you can't recognize him in some of these pics its probably due to the mole-stache he grew out for the competition.
While Austin was in Colorado, I did a 5 miler with my sister as apart of the October Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We ran in support of our mom who has been diagnosed with three types of breast cancer at a stage 2 and will start chemo treatments soon.
